Mosquito Management
The Aedes, Anopheles and Culex mosquitoes transmit dengue fever/dengue haemorrhagic fever (DF/DHF), malaria, and lymphatic filariasis and Japanese encephalitis, respectively. Source reduction is the most effective solution in the management of mosquitoes. On our part our service technicians are trained to thoroughly inspection potential habitats to eliminate breeding sources that may be present within your premise. They will advise you on better housekeeping practices, which when conformed with, will provide maximum mosquito management.

Flies can transmit food-borne diseases (cholera, typhoid, paratyphoid, salmonellosis and dysentery), myiasis, trachoma, and yaws. They breed in organic wastes, refuse and animal excrement. Flies regurgitate and excrete wherever they come to rest and thereby are ideally suited to mechanically transmit disease organisms. Proper sanitation and good house keeping practices will go a long way in minimizing this pest. Keep trash cans clean and tightly covered.

Cockroaches are one of the oldest groups of insects, indicating how successful they have been in adapting to changes in their environments. Cockroaches are filthy in their habits. They breed in dark, moist and warm places and are vectors of several food-borne diseases. One reason for this success may be related to diet--they are scavengers and will eat anything organic. Once again sanitation plays a key role towards the management of this pest. Our technicians are equipped with the latest in baiting, residual spray applications and monitoring stations to indentify and minimize this pest.

Rodents breed and live in places where food, water and shelter are easily accessible. They transmit rat-bite fever, leptospirosis and murine typhus. The best way to prevent a rodent infestation and contact with rodents is to remove the food sources, water, and items that provide shelter for rodents. Our technicians will place monitoring stations to determine the population of the rodent infestation and thereafter formulate a systematic programme to reduce the population and eliminate the infestation.

Other pests that are also included in our pest management program includes:
  • Snake
  • Ants
  • Fleas
  • Ticks
  • Cat
